From the organizer

* 5th annual Celebrate a Nurse 5K 1M Run/Walk on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. at the Madison College-Reedsburg Campus. Both the 1-mile and 5K races both start at 9:30 a.m.

* Proceeds benefit a scholarship for Madison College – Reedsburg nursing students.

* Encourage everyone to participate.

* Only runners participating in the 5K event will be timed. Awards will be presented immediately following the race. Awards will be given to the top 1st-3rd place male and females finishing in each age division.

*The 5K route may also be walked

*Virtual 5K are ineligible for top 3 finisher awards

*Virtual 5K participants within Sauk County can pick up at Reedsburg Campus, otherwise shirt will be shipped.

*In person sign-up is eligible for transfer to virtual race, if unable to attend

5K age divisions are:

17 & under 18-29 30-39 40-49 50 & over * Team entries no additional charge. Example of teams: Alumni Nurses graduation class, Nursing Departments, Healthcare Organizations, Memorial team, and family teams. Be creative with your team attire – prize to be given to the most creative team. No size limit for a team.

Award for most creative team overall.
