The course

From the organizer

The May Day 5K Race will start and end at the Cheshire Children's Museum . The route will follow the Cheshire Rail Trail and turn around at the Bradford Road trail entrance.

The Cheshire Children's Museum will be hosting our 1st annual May Day 5K Run/Walk on Sunday May 3rd, 2026. This family friendly 5K rail trail race also includes free activities, food, community sponsor booths and more. The Kids 1 Mile Run will start at 10:00 am and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 10:30 am. The race will begin and end at the museum with a turn-around just before Bradford Road.

Funds raised will help expand programming, enhance exhibits, and provided access to the museum for all families in the region.
