Join us for the Bright Ideas 5K & 1 Mile , a community run in historic downtown Conway benefiting innovative classroom-based educational projects through Horry Electric Cooperative’s Bright Ideas Grant Program .

This race is designed to bring our community together to support teachers, students, and creative learning across Horry County.

🎯 Race Purpose

The Bright Ideas Grant Program provides funding for innovative, classroom-based educational projects that fall outside normal public and private school funding.

Grants are available to all disciplines for grades K–12 throughout Horry County , helping educators turn creative ideas into impactful learning experiences.
