Bigfoot Dash 5K

We will have some fun yard games and activities set up on the school yard to enjoy during and after the race while waiting for awards to be given out! Bring the whole family to cheer on our runners!

 

Race with Bigfoot through Marion before enjoying the WNC Bigfoot Festival downtown! Proceeds will go to the general fund at Marion Elementary School. 

Packet pick-up will be August 28nd , 5-7 pm at Marion Elementary School, OR before the race begins starting at 7 AM. 

Race Start: 8AM at Marion Elementary School in the side parking lot near library.  You can park at the church across the street (both sides) and along the road around the school.    

Top 3 males and females overall and in the following age groups will be recognized: 

0-5

6-10

11-14

15-19

20-29

30-39

40-49

50-59

60 and above

Start out at Marion Elementary parking lot

Turn right onto Robert St. 

Continue on to McDowell Ave. 

Straight through Court St. towards EMMS

Turn left on Woodland Dr

Loop around neighborhood- Woodland Dr. 

Turn left back up McDowell Ave

Turn left onto Pineview St. 

Turn left onto Clay St. 

Turn left onto Greenlee St. 

Turn left on Euclid Ave

Turn left on Tremont St. 

Turn right on Alabama Ave

Turn right on Peavine trail

Turn right on State St. (stay on right hand side of st.)

Turn left on McDowell Ave

Straight through Court St. 

Turn left on McDowell Ave.
