2026 Balloons Over 66 5K Registration

Enjoy a morning 5K run with your friends and family.

**Race begins at 8:00am**

Registration:

• Participants must register online in advance. No registration at pick-up or on race day will be available.

• Participants must be in good health and symptom free from any illness for at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

***Register before August 2nd to receive a shirt.*** 

Race bib and t-shirt pickup will be from **7:20am-7:45am at the Lincoln Park District (1400 Primm Road Lincoln, IL US 62656) August 29, 2026. 

Course:

• Participants will cross timing equipment at the start line. Once you cross the timing equipment, your time will automatically start.

• It is your responsibility to know the course, and run it safely. You can find our race route on our website (lincolnparkdistrict.com) or on our Facebook page.

• This run will be a chip timed run by Kinetic Timing.
• There will be one water stop on Home Avenue.
• All finishers* will be eligible for a beverage (bottled water or beer at Spirited Republic) *must show race bib to receive a beverage. Must be age 21 and provide ID for alcoholic beverage
• Top Runners will be announced inside Spirited Republic at 9:00am.

KID RACES

Registration

*Only the 100m (ages 1-3 years of age) may have up to 1 parent run with them for the race

T-shirt pickup will be from **7:20am-7:45am at the Lincoln Park District (1400 Primm Road Lincoln, IL US 62656) and

 **9:20am-9:45am at Lincoln Community High School Track August 23, 2025.

Course:

Kid races will take place at the Lincoln Community High School Track.  You will find flags with the distance your child will be running for you to line up 10 minutes prior to start time.

Each age group is asked to be at their start line and we will announce each age group separately for the start of their race.
