Firecracker 5k

The Ansonia Fire Department is holding its annual

Firecracker 5K on July 4th, 2026

Starts: 8:00am Gun Start

At Ansonia Local Schools West Parking Lot

Early sign up discounts, before June 21st.

NO day of race registration!

T-Shirts with registration sign up until June 21st!

Option of a DRY FIT shirts again this year!

Award Medals will be given out for the top 3 in every age category for both Male and Female runners, as well as top 3 male and top 3 female overall and First place Team overall.

Race will be same course as the past with the beautiful and shaded country road run.

This race is just one of our yearly fundraisers that we use to help offset the raising costs of keeping our fire departments equipment maintained and up to date so that we can provide the best possible service to our community.
