From the organizer
Come join us for the ninth annual All for Abs Memorial 5K Color Dash in honor of 2016 Sandusky Central Catholic (SCCS) graduate, Abigail Bastien. This will be our fourth year doing a Color Dash, which will include color stations. Each runner will receive a race t-shirt and color powder.
All proceeds raised through this event will be placed in the Abigail Bastien Scholarship Fund, which is used to award two annual scholarships to a graduating SCCS and Perkins High School student athlete.
Abigail (Abs) was the class president, member of numerous clubs, an incredible athlete, and an all-around leader. After graduating, she pursued her dream of studying molecular and cellular biology at Johns Hopkins University. Abigail was spending the summer in Baltimore performing lab research when on July 13th, 2017, she unexpectedly passed away. While she had many defining characteristics, one of Abigail’s greatest loves was running. Throughout high school she was one of the top Track & Field athletes and accumulated countless awards, including a state medal. She continued her passion collegiately after being recruited for the Johns Hopkins Track & Field team.
