Spring comes early to the trails this year! Join us for the Abe Lincoln Trail Trek 5K/10K , now moved to April to give runners firmer footing, clearer views, and a better overall race experience after last year’s soggy conditions.

Set in scenic Carpenter Park , this trail race showcases some of Springfield’s most beautiful natural terrain. Runners will enjoy sweeping views of the Sangamon River, winding woodland trails, and peaceful river-bottom fields. Keep an eye out for deer, squirrels, and native birds as you make your way through this quietly stunning course.
