The course

From the organizer

Join the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office as we partner with a local 501c3 non-profit, Team Give Back to host the Firecracker 5k and Fun Run on the 4th of July in Dahlonega. The race will start and finish in historic downtown Dahlonega. All proceeds from this event will go toward Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office Youth Programs.

DATE: Saturday July 4, 2026

TIME:

7:00am - 5K / 8:00am Fun Run / 8:30am awards

LOCATION: Start and Finish will be held at the Dahlonega's Visitors Center (13 South Park Street, Dahlonega, GA 30533)

PARKING: UNG Parking Deck behind the Smith House, Hancock Park, Visitors Parking lot downtown

SHIRTS: Shirts will be provided for all PRE-REGISTERED participants registered before FRIDAY JUNE 19, 2026

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the OVERALL male and female and the top three male/ female in each age division

DIVISIONS: Overall Male , Overall Female , 12 and under, 13-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 and 80 and up

PACKET PICKUP:

Friday July 3rd 10:00am to 6:00pm at Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office (385 East Main Street, Dahlonega GA 30533)

RACE DAY AT 6:00am to 7:00am (13 South Park Street, Dahlonega GA 30533)
