3rd Annual LIGHTHOUSE FOR LIFE "From Sea to Shining Sea" Run Across America 5,540 Mile Challenge, by F3 MIDLANDS

Hey everyone! Please join F3 Midlands for our 3rd Annual week-long virtual activity challenge! This year we're aiming to run across America "From Sea to Shining Sea" and log a total of 5,540 miles together as a group. It's all for a great cause—raising awareness about the serious issue of human trafficking right here in our community.

Throughout the week of October 4-10 all participants will track their own miles wherever and however you want to log them. Whether you're walking, running, cycling, or doing your favorite activity, every mile counts towards our goal!

Not only are we spreading awareness, but we're also fundraising for Lighthouse for Life, a nonprofit in Columbia, SC that supports survivors of human trafficking from our community. The money raised will directly help in their recovery and restoration. Let's make a difference together!

At Lighthouse for Life, we walk alongside survivors of sex trafficking, helping to support and empower them through their restoration process.

Through speaking engagements, presentations, and training, we work to educate communities on what this modern day slavery looks like and equip everyday people to identify, report, and prevent human trafficking.

F3 is a national network of free, peer-led workouts for men. Our mission is to plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership. Started in 2011 in Charlotte, North Carolina, F3 is now in 48 states, on 5 continents, with more than 4,205 scheduled workouts a week through the volunteer efforts of men whose lives have been changed by their involvement with the group.

The three Fs in our name stand for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith — the last of which we define as not one specific religion or faith system, but simply a belief in something outside oneself.

Our workouts …
Are free of charge
Are open to all men
Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion, with no training or certification necessary
End with a Circle of Trust
We welcome men of all fitness levels to our workouts and have no requirement for membership other than that you show up at the appointed time and place and follow what the workout leader (the “Q” in F3 lingo) does.
