The Annual Run For The Paws 5k is an annual event that encourages healthy activity within our community while raising financial support for the Clark County Animal Shelter. Through revenue generated from entry ticket sales for over 100 runners annually and generous sponsors throughout the Clark County Community, the Run For The Paws 5k has helped the Clark County Animal Shelter purchase much-needed supplies including food, shelving, cleaning materials, and more.
What is the virtual option?
REGISTER - The Clark County Animal Shelter STILL NEEDS OUR SUPPORT! We encourage you to register for 2026 Run for the Paws and on May 16th, walk or run your 3.1 with your favorite furry friend, family member, or alone! Our virtual race is a non-competitive option to show your support from anywhere. We will have an event page on which you can post pictures of your success. This event benefits the Shelter to support their efforts to maintain the health and wellness of ALL of our community and our furry friends in need!
All runners and walkers will receive a unique 2026 Race T-Shirt!!
REGISTER by April 30th to guarantee a t-shirt. Online registration will be open until May 15th with no t-shirt guarantee. Day of race registration will be available with no t-shirt guarantee.
*Please note that this is NOT a road race.
